Does Wyoming support tax extension for business income
tax returns?
Wyoming State does not have a separate income tax for businesses. But, the State imposes the Sales & Use Tax on businesses operating
in Wyoming.
In the event a Wyoming sales tax filing deadline was missed due to circumstances beyond your control (e.g., weather, accident), the Wyoming DOR may grant you
an extension.
When is the deadline to file Sales & Use tax with the state
of Wyoming?
Wyoming State Sales & Use tax return is due by February 1 for the reporting period of
January 1 – December 31.

an extension.
Note: Make sure to pay any taxes due along with the extension Form to avoid penalties and interest.
How do I pay my balance due along with the extension Form?
You can choose to pay your balance due along with your return by using any one of the following options:
- http://revenue.wyo.gov/ to make tax payments and balance dues by choosing ACH Debit / E-Check
- You can also choose to print a voucher and mail your payment
as well.
